Preview — not hands-on. We have not lived with a NEO. Specs and pricing below come from 1X’s own pages as of Oct 27, 2026. 1X says “US Deliveries start 2026,” but has not announced a confirmed customer home delivery date yet.
A home humanoid you can actually put money down on
Most humanoids are still lab demos. NEO is different: 1X will take a $200 deposit today, and the order page lists two clear paths — $20,000 ownership or $499/month.
That does not mean a robot shows up next week. It means you can lock a place in line while the company finishes factory and home testing.

Walking speed 1.4 m/s; max run 6.2 m/s (maker). Soft suit/shoes are machine-washable nylon per 1X.
Expert Mode (read this before you deposit)
NEO is meant to run chores on its own. For tasks it does not know yet, Expert Mode lets a 1X human expert remotely supervise the robot at scheduled times so it can learn. That is powerful — and it means a person can see through the robot’s cameras when Expert Mode is on. Check 1X’s privacy terms before you buy in.
Who NEO is for
