FF Nova humanoid robot — official product photo from Faraday Future

Spec first look: FF Nova ($2,490) and Nova Mini ($299)

Spec first look — not hands-on. We have not used an FF Nova. Numbers below come from Faraday Future’s robotics site and the Oct 15, 2026 launch release.

A humanoid that fits in a backpack — for under $2,500

Full-size humanoids start in the five figures. FF Nova is Faraday Future’s answer for developers and classrooms: about 50 cm tall, 2.8 kg, and priced at $2,490 for the robot (plus an optional $390 Developer Skills Package).

That is an order of magnitude cheaper than a Unitree G1 (from $13.5K). Different job, different buyer.

Who should buy Nova vs a G1

  • FF Nova — learn embodied AI, RL, Sim2Real, and SDK work on a portable biped. Not a chore robot.
  • Unitree G1 — full-size research/demo platform you can order from Unitree today (from $13.5K).

FF has mentioned sales via FF.com / FF Mall and an “official Amazon store.” We have not verified a live Amazon listing, so there is no Amazon / humanoidbot-20 link here.
