Maker caveats
Unitree says some functions are still being developed, urges individuals to understand the limitations, and advises keeping a safe distance when the robot operates.
Our take
The G1 is one of the few humanoids with a published price an individual can see. The base model is a platform for learning and demos, while developer work needs the EDU version. We have not run it ourselves, so treat this as a summary of what the maker states.
